Boilers with the technology from our Locomotive Construction

The new steam boiler Fr 70 is designed according to the proven principle of our locomotive boiler . Conspicuous characteristic is the complete equipment and the simple handling.
It is heated over a flame tube, which flows into a smoke chamber. The steam cock is built into the boiler. Steam is taken at the highest point of the steam domes bolted with fine hexagonal screws and led by the boiler into the smoke chamber. Steam is led by a superheater in the smoke chamber to the steam jet oiler and then to the machine. If the machine is attached equal behind the steam jet oiler, then one has few condensation losses with this boiler construction. At the steam dome, two connections are available possibly for a whistle, a steam central heating for keeping the gas at a moderate temperature etc..
The steam boiler is outstanding for driving a steam ship. By taking the steam from the steam dome strong movements of the ship will not cause water to be picked up in the steam line. In the flame tube with transverse super heater pipes a tubing burner is inserted. The boiler is installed ready for operation, the burner is adjusted and rehearse-ignited. Igniting is made by the chimney. The boiler is black burn-painted. The boiler feet are held with two bands.

The steam jet oiler and the whistle cock pictured are not furnished with the boiler and must be ordered seperately.
