The Dollar is still falling like a rock against the Euro. No one is sure when it will stop. We anticipate adjusting our prices accordingly on 1 April 2008.
We do not want to follow the pattern of other firms with "Call for Pricing" given in price list. We will try to post prices for our customers as best we can. Even moderate delivery delays from the factory hit hard as we are billed on shipment. We cannot lock in prices in US Dollars with our European suppliers on date of order, as is the American Custom. The Dollar's value and exchange rate is changing to rapidly. Please understand these factors are beyond our control.
30 Year Jubilee Celebration, 11 to 13 July 2008 : Come and help us celebrate our 30th Anniversary of manufacturing fine Live Steam Locomotives , Live Steam Boat Engines and Narrow Gauge Electric Trains. Celebration will be held 11 to 13 July 2008 at our Factory in Aurach Germany. Activities will feature various contests including kitbash of any REGNER engine,with some neat prizes. We will have several tracks open for railroad steamup operations, and a 7 meter water basin for those who would like to bring their steamboats. Steam oil, lube oil and water will be provided. We will have an open house of our factory on Saturday 12 July with staff on hand to answer your questions, and provide an opportunity to see how we go about producing our products. Saturday evening will feature dinner, music and dancing.
I will be translating REGNER Info page and posting in this section with information about accomadations and directions. Hope to get it done by weekend. It should be a great opportunity to see Germany with a purpose. I will apply for my passport next week so I will have it in time. Kitbash contest will allow any REGNER engine to be entered.

This model is by PREORDER ONLY!!! Orders are supposed to be in by end of March. I have explained to the Regner's that I probably cannot get the word out to everyone in America in time to meet that deadline. They have agreed to extend deadline for USA modelers by a "couple of weeks". After that no further orders will be accepted and this model will never be built again. Orders placed by end of March will be available for pick up at Jubilee Celebration in Germany on 11-13 July 2008. USA orders to be shipped, will be shipped in next few months after that.
Ken will be on Holiday with family the week of 3 March. Dave Orwig of Team-REGNER, will be answering phones and fielding e-mail questions.
REGNER has announced several new models for 2008:
The SAXIONA 30 Year Jubilee Model will be offered in 3 versions; PREMIUM, with piston controlled cylinders; STANDARD, with oscillating cylinders ; ELECTRIC, MAXON 5 Pole electric drive. So far only kit prices have been announced. It will be week of 10th before I get this translated and posted.
CHALONER of DeWinton: Furnished in the EASY Line of engines is a vertical boiler 0-4-0 with twin oscillators. This engine is up on the site.
STATIONARY PLANT: Live Steam powered stationary plant with generator. Built as EASY Line R-T-R. This plant is up on the site.
STEAM-TRICYCLE; Model of Steam -Tricycle made by Serpollet in 1887. I will get translated and up on site as soon as I can.
RSSB: REGNER Small Scale Electric; there is a Starter Set for the first time, and a new electric small diesel to add to the 30/32 mm gauge offerings.
REGNER IS PARTICIPATING IN THE NURENBERG TOY FAIR 7 THRU 12 FEBRUARY. THIS MEANS WE CANNOT GET ANY ANSWERS FROM THE FACTORY AS THEY BASICALLY USE ALL HANDS FOR THIS EFFORT. THIS IS ALSO THE TIME REGNER DEBUTS ANY NEW ENGINES TO THE PUBLIC. HE DOESN'T EVEN TELL HIS DEALERS WHAT IS COMING. WE SEE IT WHEN YOU DO. IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO KEEP AN EYE ON THIS SHOW.

The REGNER factory has announced effective with the new catalog the "Willi" and "Konrad" models will not include the Figures. Willi or Konrad models shipped after 1 August 2007 will not include the figure even though it is in the picture. Figures for each will be available as accessories.
