70070 /80 Box Car

Cars of this design were used nearly everywhere, particularly in the mining industry. The side panels are mobile and can be opened and locked. The parts were moulded from high-quality UVprotected plastics. Special attention was paid to engraving mould for metal brackets securing wood panels at sides and ends. Wheel sets and couplings must be ordered separately.

These cars were utilized in many coal pits. Cars of this type were mostly made with wood sides. The model also features finely engraved metal straps made of black plastic. The coal load is included. The wheel sets and the couplings must be ordered seperately.

HINT
The coal provided can be wet with thin mix of water resistant wood glue. The coal load is filled and modelled into the cars. After drying the adhesive becomes again completely clear and is weatherproof.
