 Steyr Daimler Puch AG Rail tramcar



Our model of a rail tramcar is based on prototypes of the companies Austro Daimler & Puch, late Steyr Daimler Puch AG, which was used among other things in the First World War. The original had 4.2 a HP engine and a weight of 600kg.
These rail tramcars were used for many different work, used with most different superstructures them for the transportation of human beings or in the agriculture, with attached side panels, for bulk material transportation or in the timber economy to transport of long woods. The company Puch built these course tramcars in the track widths from 500 to 760mm



Our model comes with a Faulhaber gear motor (to 18Volt and 500mA, reduction to 112: 1) Chain drive is used to obtain drive on the front two axles. The bogies are soldered and black painted from brass. The housing is likewise milled and black painted from brass. The loading area is decked from plywood. The model is delivered partly assembled with completion by the customer. The engine is already installed and tested.
