INTRO

RSSB means (Regner SchmalSpurBahn) = REGNER narrow-gauge railway. It is a 2 Rail electric track powered system. It is manufactured in a scale of 1:22.5 for track of either 30mm or 32mm. System engines and rolling stock my be ordered for either 30mm or 32mm track width/gauge and a variety of coupling and wheel set types to suit application. Track components are only available in 30mm.

Engines operate on variable Direct Current up to 18 VDC as supplied from any standard American transformer. We do not recommend the REGNER transformer for use in the United States, as it is set up for European 220VAC with the European style wall plug.

The largest part of our RSSB - program are offered as kits. The kits are from high-quality plastic injection moulded parts from wood and brass close tolerance castings. The car kits can be ordered and arranged with the desired wheel sets and couplings.

Please note that wheel sets and couplings must be ordered seperatly according to individual desires. Wheel sets and couplings and are not included in the kits.

The program of the RSSB is very extensive and in such a way arranged that one can build as individually with the large model and model-faithfully. They must be neither an electrician nor a mechanic. An average model kit building ability is however desirable. With our RSSB becomes possible beautiful and creative leisure activities. Even genuine live steam from the Easy-Line is feasible on this track width of 30mm and 32mm.

NOTE 1 : Regner does not sell either 45mm or 32mm track. These are available in Nickel/Silver from the Train Department, from the extensive PECO Line of fine track and components.

The 30mm track system is designed to model European Narrow Gauge Prototype Railway systems of 600 to 750mm gauge width. These railways were used extensively in industrial and general utility work. The RSSB track system is manufactured from high-quality materials. The ties are injection moulded of UV resistant polypropylene. The track profile is drawn from a special brass. Thus the track system is weatherproof and. Approved for both indoor and outdoor use. Track components are availabe to add a third rail to existing track if desired.
