Over 20 years ago we built a steam engine for full pressure systems. The machine was very successful. Production was stopped 1986. Recently we decided we wanted a small efficient ship machine. After searching we remembered again our junior.
The construction was revised, brought up to date and provided the pistons with o'rings. The cylinders are from Ms58, which is extreamly suited for this application.. The pilot pistons are working after the full pressure system fit in. All parts are manufactured through machining and milling. The cylinder caps are bolted with beautiful model-fair hexagonal screws. The machine is built in twin cylinder execution particularly for the marine engine. The kit can problem-free be mounted also by beginners. It is suitable for ships up to 20 kg of water displacement and a screw up to 90 mm in diameter.
The best way to operate the machine is with a variable-pitch propeller. In the other cases the machine can change direction of rotation with a reversing valve.
