REGNER

GENERAL

REGNER is one of the most well known and respected manufacturer's of live steam products in Europe. REGNER is lesser known in America, primarially due to the language barrier. REGNER does not have an English Language version of his website, and therefore has had a very small following in America. A situation we seek to correct. REGNER has been in contineous operation for over 25 years. REGNER is most well known for manufacturing high quality live steam engines in kit form. It is a family owned and operated business located in the small Village of Aurach, Germany.

Several years ago REGNER was faced with a decision as to whether or not to follow the competition to Asia to manufacture their products. REGNER decided to stay in their native Germany, and do the things necessary to compete with Asian products. This decision led to the introduction of his new “easy line” of ready to run (RTR) products, in addition to his renown kits.

Each year REGNER offers a unique limited production model. It is made primarilly by pre-order with only a few extra produced. Once they are sold out, they become highly sought after, and generally accrue in value. I note those items as such on their web pages.

REGNER also replaces several older models with new general catalog production models each year. I will try to alert you of those changes for each production year.

This website is intended to be the face of REGNER in America, and introduce these fine products to our fellow modelers. We seek to “go the extra mile” to provide the highest level of sales and service to our customers. This English Language website is only one example of that service.
